What is the Onboarding process?
We’re all about Trust & YOUR Safety. Our goal is to build a trusted community of construction professionals. That’s why we personally vet all applicants and ask that each potential member fill out a quick application and verify their ID. We also aim to have direct communication with every member that has recently joined SharePlant. That way we have a better understanding of our members’ needs as well as who they are and if they’d be a valuable addition to the community.
Once you fill out the quick application from our Sign Up page, our team will review it and determine if you are right for the community. If so, may carry out background checks on you. Once approved we will help you list your equipment, create your profile and help with any questions or concerns within the marketplace.

Why do I need to verify my identity?
We carry out identity verification in order to build trust among our members and prevent fraud. During the on boarding process, you may be asked to verify your identity via our partner, Onfido.
What type of equipment can I list?
We list any type of construction plant, equipment or tools. Whatever you think will be valuable to the community, we encourage you to list it.
Where do you operate?
At the moment we operate in the United Kingdom, but propose to expand into other countries in the near future.
Why should I leave a review for my transactions?
We believe that reviews are what makes the world go ‘round. Specifically, to maintain SharePlant as a trusted and transparent community, every member is strongly encouraged to leave a review for the other member after every transaction. SharePlant will provide a percentage of positive versus negative reviews in each profile as well as display past reviews and their ratings.
In order to keep trust and an open dialogue on SharePlant, it’s important to publicly document how your experience was after every transaction. Just like Yelp, Airbnb and Ebay, reviews exist to accurately reflect each and every member’s reputation within the SharePlant community.
How do I remove a review?
If you feel that you were given an inaccurate review or were reviewed maliciously, please contact us and we will investigate the matter.
I think someone is using SharePlant fraudulently, what do I do?
If you suspect fraudulent activity on SharePlant, please notify us immediately.
